1. An email name under .th must be at least 2 characters long.
2. Only Thai script is allowed: consonants (ก-ฮ, ฤ, ฤา, ฦ, ฦา), vowels, tone marks, Thai numerals (๐-๙), yamok (ๆ), phinthu (อฺ), nikhahit (อํ), paiyannoi (ฯ), and karan.
3. Arabic numerals 0-9 may be used, but must be combined with at least one Thai character as specified in rule 2.
4. A hyphen (-) may be used, but not two in a row (--), and not as the first or last character of the email name.
5. Must not be a word or proper name reserved under any of the following categories:
   • Names referencing the King, the royal family, members of the royal family, or places associated with the King and royal family.
   • Names that touch on sensitive religious or belief-related matters.
   • Names that would defame any person or organization, including mockery, sarcasm, or names that could incite conflict or hatred.
   • Names of countries, provinces, states, cities, or other public places, or names alluding to them.
   • Profanity or words that violate Thai moral standards, including words that are not profane on their own but become so through wordplay (e.g. spoonerisms).
   • Names referring to the internet, internet protocols, or the domain name system.

1. Anyone may request a Thai-language email account (@คน.ไทย) free of charge for the life of the account.

2. Applicants must present a national ID card.

3. One account per applicant.

4. Applicants receive 1 GB of free email storage per account.

5. Applicants may choose their own email account name, provided it does not conflict with the .th domain naming policy.

6. Approval of email account names is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

7. The right is reserved to delete email accounts that have not been logged into for more than 1 year, without prior notice.
